The Marine family is a pretty special family to me~! While I started attending Mosaic Lincoln church, I met Chelsea and Bryan a few months after they got hitched.
Chelsea started doing lifestyle photography around the same time when BRC was in it’s starting point. Back then, we didn’t have a name either, and I remember having talks with Chelsea about pricing, worries, and fun things that would happen at shoots. Her husband Bryan, a videographer among many other things, have actually started their own business for weddings and events, Wax Robot. Now Chelsea, both of us with wedding, event and other types of photography experiences under our belts, we are still good friends a year later!
BUT! She went and up and had a baby. So I may be a little behind, but at least I get to take pictures of a fellow photographer in the fun times in their lives. And, I tell you, Cadence is ONE cute little dude. The thing about photographers, you rarely get pictures of yourself, so it’s really a blessing to me to have been able to do their maternity and now six month family shoot!
What was great about this collaboration, was the fun places we got to go because of Chelsea’s knowledge from her own shoots. Sometimes it can be nerve racking shooting another photographer, but I’ve always felt that Chelsea has believed in my artistic vision and helped me explore it in her shoots. For that, I have been really thankful.
So here is what we came up with, enjoy!
