I love sharing these kind of weddings.
Country yester-year, love. Mmmhmmm.
Elizabeth’s and Cody’s day was vintage and lace from the top to the bottom. My favorite! First time BRC participated in a Fall wedding, the colors were beautiful and the air was crisp! Going at the wedding parties laid back pace, hanging out while cracking up and creating along side the talented Nicholas O’Bradovich, and ate some amazing apple cupcakes- I would say it was an amazing day.
E + C’s crew was made up of some amazing friends of now and old; a colorful array of personalities and genuine hearts. So it was only fitting that alongside their (will be) amazing digital photos for them to indulge in the vintage and ever surprising lomography style. Never knowing what it will produce, the Toy Camera’s worked hard at producing a genuine and creative approach to their big day. I guess I worked a little, too. Ehe.
One of my favorite parts about this time was shooting with several cameras, including flash. Namely, the classic Holga with 35mm, Ansco 35 and my lovely array of Smena 8m’s. Some of the up-close flash shots from the reception reminded me of my grandparents wedding from back in the 50’s and the delightful style of the family camera.
This wedding was a gem of a day with a swell couple.
Be sure to check Nicholas’s coverage of the day later on! I can’t wait to see it through his lens.
